These are true BMX carbon rims. Most of the carbon BMX rims on the market so far are simply 20" versions of road bike 35/38mm aero rims. That's why they all have a that tall aero shape. We started from the ground up, working with one of the leading carbon rim makers to create and mold our carbon rims. Carbon was originally developed for road bikes, but has been perfected and proven on mountain bikes. It is not only far lighter than aluminum, it is much, much stiffer and stronger. Please note that carbon rims require special brake pads.

We offer replacement pads or you can find them at high end road shops.
